Why sell additional services in short-term rentals?

Short-term rental property managers have every interest in offering additional services to their guests...

 

Indeed, by offering additional services such as: Late checkout or Early check-in ⏰ - Parking spot 🚗 - Extra bed linens 🛌 - Pet supplement 🐶 - Personal key handover 🔑 - Bike rental 🚲 etc...

 

... you can not only increase your income, but also offer a more pleasant and practical stay experience for your guests.

 

So be careful: contrary to what some may think, selling extras does not mean giving nothing away for free

 

But with guests who are increasingly demanding, it is perfectly normal to want to satisfy them by being paid for services that "go beyond" the basic contract

 

For example, offer 15 extra minutes at checkout if politely requested…

 

… then charge if these 15 minutes are exceeded 🙂
